How often should I get my boiler serviced?
You should have your boiler serviced annually. Not only will this ensure it’s running efficiently and safely for the year ahead, but it will also validate any manufacturer’s warrantees you have on the appliance. Regular boiler maintenance minimises the risk of breakdown and helps lengthen the lifespan of your boiler too.
Should I switch my boiler off before servicing?
Turn the boiler off 30 minutes before the gas engineer arrives, so that the boiler is cool when he services it. Otherwise he will have to wait for it to cool down before starting.
What happens if I dont service my boiler?
If you don’t service your boiler for more than 12 months, this may void your warranty, so if it does break down, you won’t be able to claim the money for repairs from the manufacturer or home insurance. Regular boiler servicing will always save you money in the long term.

- Flue Gas Analysis

- Any pipework buried under concrete floors or within the fabric of your property
- Any repairs/spare parts/replacements or call-outs, outside of the inclusions above
